Nigerian forward John Maja was the star of the show as his hat-trick led West Bromwich Albion to a 3-1 comeback victory against Queens Park Rangers in their Championship clash at Loftus Road on Saturday.

The hosts, West Brom struck first in the 16th minute through Lucas Andersen.

However, Maja brought the Baggies level with a well-taken header just ten minutes later.

The 25-year old striker continued his fine form, putting West Brom ahead five minutes into the second half and sealing the victory with his third goal, 25 minutes from full time.

Fellow Nigerian player, Semi Ajayi also featured for West Brom.

The central defender played the full 90 minutes of the match, conceding 3 goals.
