Chukwueze Stands by AC Milan Move, Rejects Saudi Millions to Prove Himself in Europe

AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze has confirmed he has no regrets about joining the Italian giants, despite being presented with a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia last summer.
The Winger made the switch to Milan from Spanish club Villarreal last July, after a five-year stint in La Liga.
Chukwueze, 25, revealed that his agent had proposed a significant financial deal from a Saudi Arabian club, but he turned it down in favor of proving himself in Europe.
“If money were a problem, I would have signed in Saudi Arabia. They wanted me a year ago,” Chukwueze told Football Italia.
“My mind was set only on Milan. My agent told me, ‘Hey, look, there’s this money…’ But I said no: ‘I don’t want to go anywhere else.’”
The winger endured a challenging first season with the Rossoneri, scoring just once in 24 league appearances.
However, he has shown promise in pre-season, registering two assists and a goal in four matches.
Chukwueze remains determined to establish himself at Milan, stating, “The most important thing now is to believe in myself; I’m still young, I want to make it, I need to stay in Europe.”
