Portuguese Primera Liga club, Estrella has had its first bid for Super Eagles defender, Benjamin Tanimu rejected by his Tanzanian club, Ihefu FC.

According to reports, Estrella’s initial offer of $320,000 was considered insufficient.

The Portuguese side is expected to return with an improved offer before the transfer window closes.

Benjamin Tanimu joined Ihefu FC from Bendel Insurance last year.

The young center-back made his international debut for Nigeria against Ghana in March and has earned three caps for the Super Eagles.
