Samuel Chukwueze played in his fourth preseason game as AC Milan and FC Barcelona clashed at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Wednesday.
Chukwueze who has been in sterling this pre-season got a starter’s spot against the LaLiga club.
However, the winger featured for seventy-eight minutes in the game before he was replaced by AC Milan boss, Paulo Fonseca.
Wednesday encounter ended 2-2 in regulation time with goals from Luca Jovic (10′) and Christian Pulisic (15′) to give Milan a first half lead.
But Barcelona responded before the break through their talismanic striker, Robert Lewandowski (22′).
The Pole got his second in the 58th minutes to level matters and force the game into penalty shootouts. Milan prevailed in the penalties 4-3.
AC Milan will go into the new Serie A season’s opening game against Torino on that high, kicking off the campaign at home.
