Tobi Amusan has secured her place in the semi-finals of the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The world record holder dominated her heat, finishing with an impressive time of 12.49 seconds.
Amusan’s performance saw her comfortably ahead of the competition, with the USA’s Alaysha Johnson coming in second at 12.61 seconds and Janeek Brown finishing third at 12.84 seconds.
This is Amusan’s qualification for the semi-finals in three consecutive Olympic Games.
As she advances, Amusan will be aiming not only to reach the final but also to contend for a medal.
