Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman scored Atalanta’s lone goal in a 4-1 preseason defeat to Parma.
Newly Promoted Parma dominated the UEFA Europa League champions and Coach Gian Piero Gasperini was visibly furious during the first cooling break at the Stadio Tardini, questioning his team’s performance with an expletive-laden outburst.
Atalanta were trailing 2-1 at the time but went on to suffer a 4-1 defeat.
Atalanta has played three preseason games, with their only win coming against their own U19 team, and a 2-2 draw against AZ Alkmaar.
La Dea will play another friendly against St. Pauli and then face Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup on August 14, before opening their Serie A campaign against Lecce on August 19.
