Despite his efforts, Genk fell to OH Leuven with a final score of 3-1. Arokodare, 23, found the back of the net two minutes past the hour mark, capitalizing on an assist from fellow Nigerian Yira Sor. Arokodare remained on the pitch throughout, registering a total of seven shots on target. Sor, who started the game on the bench, was substituted in after the break, replacing Karetsas Konstantinos. The former Flying Eagles star, created two chances , attempted two shot at goal and provided one assist. With this defeat, Genk has managed to secure only one point from their first two matches of the season.
