AC Milan winger, Rafael Leao supports and believes his teammate, Samuel Chukwueze will carry his impressive pre-season form into the upcoming season.

The 25-year old Nigerian has been a standout performer for the Rossoneri in their pre-season matches.

He provided two assists in Milan’s 3-2 victory over Manchester City and scored the winning goal in their 1-0 win against Real Madrid on Thursday.

Leao believes that if Samuel Chukwueze continues to play with the same confidence and determination, he will have a great season.

“When you don’t play a lot it becomes difficult to show what you can do but, from what I’ve seen, Chuk (Chukwueze) has more confidence, he wants to have the ball and make a difference. That’s what I was waiting for. If he continues like this, he’ll have a great season,” Leao said.
