Following his early exit from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Nigeria’s Anuoluwapo Opeyori has described the experience as positive.
Back to back loses in the group stage confirmed Opeyori’s ouster, the latest being to China’s Li Shifeng after straight sets defeat to Switzerland’s Tobias Kuenzi in the badminton event.
The player who was Nigeria’s only representative in the event described as a “big win” for the continent.
He said his focus will quickly shift to competing for the rest of the season, thanked the fans for their support and summed up his Olympics journey as a learning curve.
