OGC Nice forward and Nigeria international, Terem Moffi has sustained an ACL rupture in his left knee, according to reports.
The Ligue 1 club confirmed the news in a medical statement after medical exams revealed the ACL rupture on his left knee.
He sustained the injury during Nice’s preseason training camp in Austria.
Terem Moffi is expected to miss most of the upcoming Ligue 1 season. This will be a big blow to Franck Haise’s OGC Nice.
According to reports in France, OGC Nice executives, including the recently appointed Sporting director Florian Maurice, are contemplating searching the market for a striker.
Since joining the French club two seasons ago from Lorient, Moffi has scored 20 goals and provided five assists in 52 games for Nice.
