French Ligue 1 club, OGC Nice has confirmed that Nigerian forward Terem Moffi will be out of action for a long period of time after sustaining an injury.
In a post on the club’s official Instagram page, it was announced that Moffi sustained an injury during team training and underwent further tests to determine its severity.
“Hit during training, Terem underwent supplementary exams today. The latter confirmed a rupture of the cruciate ligament in the left knee.
“The Nigerian can count on the unwavering support of the entire red and black family.
“Staff, teammates, Gym employees, and supporters will accompany him during his recovery and wish him, in unison, a speedy recovery. Take care Terem, you’ll come back stronger!” the club wrote.
Moffi joined OGC Nice in 2023 on a four-and-a-half-year deal from FC Lorient.
