Nigerian table tennis star Aruna Quadri crashed out of the Paris 2024 Men’s Singles after losing to Romania’s Eduard Ionescu.

Despite having a strong start with a 3-0 lead, Quadri was unable to maintain his advantage and ultimately lost the match 4-3 in a tense seventh set.

In the Round of 64, Quadri won the first three sets with scores of 8-11, 9-11, and 6-11.

However, Ionescu made a remarkable comeback, taking the next four sets with scores of 11-8, 12-10, 11-9, and 13-11.
