Nigerian forward Gift Orban may be on his way out of Olympique Lyonnais after just seven months with the French giants, according to reports.
Orban joined Lyon in the January transfer window for a fee of fourteen million euros from Gent, but the striker did not hit it off in Ligue 1 this past season.
Lyon is reportedly open to letting him go before his contract expires in 2028.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Ligue 1 club Stade Brestois 29, who have reportedly shown interest.
Another Ligue 1 club, Brest, which will feature in the UEFA Champions League in the new season, is also reportedly interested in Orban.
While there has been no official statement from either Lyon or Orban’s camp, a loan move could be beneficial for the player, providing him with more playing time and an opportunity to regain his form.
