Nigeria’s senior female national basketball team, D’Tigress, is set to face Japan in a pre-Olympic game on Wednesday at 8 pm in Lille, France.

This game serves as the final preparation for D’Tigress ahead of the Paris Olympic Games starting this Friday.

The team, under the guidance of Rena Wakama, has been rigorously training in Germany.

During the team’s training camp, they played two test matches against Germany and Serbia, both of which they lost.

Meanwhile, the team’s final roster was announced Tuesday evening with Wakama pruning the players in camp down to a final 12.

The African champions are set to face Australia, France, and Canada in the group phase of the Games.
