Ahmed described the opportunity as a “welcome development” and named it to a refresher course for the coaches.

He believes that the knowledge and skills they will acquire will be instrumental in enhancing the training and performance of players back in Nigeria.

“It’s a good one and I think it’s a big development because whatever they go and learn, they will come back and transform their net,” Ahmed said.

He added that experienced coaches like Odaudu and Mohammed would share their newfound knowledge with other coaches, thereby uplifting the overall standard of basketball in Nigeria.

“It will also help them see some things that they can now impact on some of the players. Like also some of these drills from the players. So I think it’s good,” he added.

In conclusion, Ahmed suggested that other coaches should also have similar opportunities in the future. “It’s good for us. The other coaches will have the opportunity to be there too,” he stated.
