Nigeria WNT, the Super Falcons, is scheduled to face their Canadian counterparts in an international friendly ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The Nigeria Football Federation announced, Monday, that the Canada friendly game will be held behind closed doors.

Prior, the Super Falcons have been in Seville, in the first phase of their preparation for the Summer Games.

“A final test before the Olympics: Our Super Falcons will be taking on reigning Olympic champions Canada in a closed-doors friendly on 17 July as final test before flying to France for the Olympics,” an NFF statement read.

The 11-time African champions are making a return to the event since 2008, when they last participated.

Nigeria opens its campaign at the Games against Brazil on the 25th of July in Paris.
