Nigerian forward Vivian Ikechukwu has officially left Turkish club Besiktas following the expiration of her contract.
Ikechukwu made the announcement on Monday, expressing her gratitude for the growth and opportunities she experienced during her tenure.
“Thank you for the growth and opportunities you gave me. I appreciate all you have done for me during my stay with this club,” the player stated.
She also extended her thanks to the management, coaching crew, teammates, and backroom staff for their support, noting that they helped her become a better player.
Ikechukwu joined Besiktas from Lithuanian side FC Gintra, where she had previously won the league title.
She has yet to reveal her next destination, promising to disclose it later this week.
