In a recent interview with Radio Serie A, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti disclosed that the club decided against signing Victor Osimhen due to the availability of Jude Bellingham.

Osimhen, who was linked with Los Blancos, as a potential replacement for Karim Benzema, did not join the club after talks failed to materialize.

Ancelotti explained the club’s decision, saying, “No, we did not sign Victor Osimhen because I think the club thought that Benzema’s absence could be remedied by purchasing Jude Bellingham.”

The decision proved successful, as Bellingham played a pivotal role in guiding Los Blancos to both LaLiga and Champions League triumphs in his debut season.

The English midfielder scored 23 goals and provided 10 assists in 42 matches across all competitions.
