French Women’s League team Paris FC has celebrated the selection of goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie in Nigeria’s Olympic squad.
Super Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum unveiled the 18-player roster for Nigeria’s Olympic campaign on Wednesday.
This marks the Super Falcons’ return to the Olympics after a 16-year absence.
Nnadozie, who had an outstanding season, is expected to start in goal for Nigeria.
Paris FC shared the news on Instagram, stating, “Our Parienne Chiamaka Nnadozie has been chosen to represent Nigeria’s Super Falcons at this summer’s Olympic Games.👏🇳🇬”
The Super Falcons will kick off their group stage against Brazil on July 25th.
