Nigerian goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye has signed with Enosis Neon Paralimni in the Cypriot First Division club.
The 24-year-old completed his transfer from Hapoel Jerusalem on July 2.
Expressing his gratitude to his new club, Adeleye said, “I’m grateful for this opportunity, and I would say that it’s a privilege to be here. I believe so much in the team, and I’m looking forward to a remarkable season.”
The B-United Football Academy product also extended his appreciation to his former team.
“A big thank you to Hapoel Jerusalem for your supports and motivations. The good six years with the club weren’t a waste,” Adeleye stated.
Adeleye joined Hapoel Katamon in 2018 from B-United Football Academy in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos and has one full cap for Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
He joins compatriot Francis Uzoho in the Cyprus League.
