In a bid to bolster their attacking lineup this summer, Liverpool are gearing up to offer £50.7 million for Atalanta’s forward, Ademola Lookman.

The 26-year-old had a remarkable season, leading Atalanta to Europa League triumph with a stunning hat-trick and finishing as the club’s top scorer for the second consecutive year.

Lookman netted 17 goals and provided 10 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions last season.

Having previously played for Everton, Fulham, RB Leipzig, and Leicester City, Lookman has flourished since his move to Italy, solidifying his reputation as a prolific scorer.

Liverpool’s new manager, Arne Slot, is reportedly a keen admirer of Lookman and is eager to bring the forward to Anfield.

Despite having three years remaining on his contract with Atalanta, it is believed that a transfer fee close to €60 million will be required to secure his services.

Atalanta originally acquired Lookman for €15 million from RB Leipzig.
