Turin-based football club Torino has expressed a strong interest in securing the services of Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye from Udinese.

Okoye, 24, is being considered as a replacement for Vanja Milinković-Savić, who is poised for a transfer away from the club.

As reported by MondoUdinese, Torino has identified the Goalkeeper as their primary target, although other potential options are also being evaluated.

Okoye impressed last season with Udinese, playing a pivotal role in helping the Bianconeri maintain their Serie A status.

After a difficult start to the season, the Nigerian seized the number one goalkeeper spot and went on to make 25 appearances, achieving five clean sheets.

His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, attracting interest from Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly looking for a goalkeeper to serve as an understudy to Yann Sommer and eventually take over the role.
