La Liga club Getafe CF have officially announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder Uche Chrisantus from Spanish second-tier club AD Ceuta.

Chrisantus, 21, has committed to a four-year contract with Getafe, which will keep him at the club until June 30, 2028.

Getafe revealed the transfer in a statement on their official website:

“Getafe CF and AD Ceuta FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Chrisantus Uche. The 21-year-old Nigerian footballer has signed with the club until June 30, 2028 and will spend the next four seasons in the blue and white jersey.”

The player will join the first team for preseason training and is expected to compete for a place in the squad.

Chrisantus joins the ranks of other Nigerian players who have been part of Getafe in the past, including Ikechukwu Uche and Oghenekaro Etebo.
