Leicester City have confirmed that they are in ongoing discussions with Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi regarding his future at the club.
With Ndidi’s current contract set to expire this month, the Foxes are keen to secure his services for the upcoming season.
“The Club confirmed they remain in discussion with the midfielder regarding his future beyond the expiration of his current contract this month,” a Club statement read.
Despite attracting interest from several other clubs, Leicester City remain hopeful of reaching an agreement to keep Ndidi at King Power Stadium.
The midfielder is expected to make a decision on whether to accept the new offer or pursue opportunities elsewhere in the coming weeks.
