The Super Eagles announced that Bayer Leverkusen star Nathan Tella has excused himself from the qualifiers against South Africa and Benin due to family reasons.

Tella made history with Bayer Leverkusen by winning the German Bundesliga without losing a game and also securing the DFB-Pokal.

Olawoyin has scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists in 36 appearances for Çaykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig this season.

His inclusion, the number of new call-ups in the Super Eagles squad is now three.

Nigeria will host South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on June 7, before facing Benin Republic at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan on June 10.
