Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo says he’s yet to make a decision regarding his international football future.
The 22-year-old, born in England to Nigerian parents, finds himself eligible to represent either Nigeria or England on the international stage.
Despite having played for England at youth levels, Okonkwo remains open to the possibility of playing for Nigeria.
Speculations have arisen surrounding his potential invitation to join Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles, for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The Wrexham goalkeeper said he’s weighing his options.
“I’m still really ambitious to play at the international level. I can still play for England or Nigeria, and I’ve not made a choice yet,” he told The Mirror.
