Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team defeated Burkina Faso 6-0 in the third round of the U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The dominant win automatically promotes Nigeria to the fourth and final qualifying round.
Harmony Chidi was the star of the match, netting a hat-trick with goals in the 11th, 74th, and 86th minutes.
Peace Effiong also shone with two goals in the 34th and 89th minutes, while Ramota Kareem added another in the 84th minute.
This victory sees Bankole Olowookere’s team move one step closer to securing their place in the U-17 Women’s World Cup.
