Victor Boniface capped off his Bundesliga campaign with yet another goal, securing Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run with a 2-1 win over FC Augsburg at home.

Leverkusen has made history becoming the first side in Bundesliga history to complete an entire season without losing a game.

Just 12 minutes into the game, Adli showcased his relentless pressing, which later led the Augsburg goalkeeper to make an error before unselfishly passing to Boniface to break the deadlock.

Not forgetting this is the 23-year-old debut season in Bundesliga finishing with 14 goals and 9 assists.

Boniface’s outstanding performance earned him the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season and a well-deserved spot in the Bundesliga Team of the Season.

He will face fellow Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman in the UEFA Europa League final in Dublin on Wednesday night.

With Leverkusen now just two games away from winning the treble, the stage is set for the forward and his teammates to etch their names in football history.
