Nasarawa Amazons missed the chance to secure a win in their opening game of the NWFL Super 6 playoff.

A missed spot kick and solid defensive play from Heartland Queens denied the Amazons.

Matchday One of the playoff got under way in Yenagoa with Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens as well as Confluence Queens and Edo Queens all squaring up in the post-season competition.

Winner of the Playoffs will emerge Nigerian champions and represent the Country in the regional qualifiers for the CAF Africa Women’s Champions League.
