Fulham FC’s star, Alex Iwobi, has expressed his satisfaction with his first Premier League season at Craven Cottage.
The Nigerian midfielder joined Fulham in September 2023 after the club agreed a deal worth up to £22 million with Everton.
Iwobi, who inked a five-year contract with the Cottagers, shared his positive experiences from his initial season, marking a promising start with his new team.
“A bit of a roller coaster, but it’s been a good season, we’ve had some memorable moments which we can cherish this season.
” I’ve enjoyed working with Marcos Silva and the team, they’ve welcomed me very well.
“Being back in London as well, I’ve enjoyed it, and I just want to kick on from this season and keep improving,” he told the club media.
Iwobi, has matched his career-best season goal tally by netting six goals this season, equaling his performance for Arsenal in the 2018/2019 season.
The midfielder is aiming to build on this success and achieve even more in the coming seasons.
“I’ve had my best goal-scoring record again, hopefully, I can break it against Luton but it’s been a good season,” He concluded.
