Chiamaka Nnadozie, the talented goalkeeper for the Super Falcons, has added another prestigious accolade to her collection in France.
On Monday, she was awarded the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) prize for the best goalkeeper in the French women’s league.
The 23-year-old footballer, who is the first Nigerian and African to win the award expressed her joy on social media.
In a post on X, she conveyed her gratitude to the UNFP and everyone who contributed to her success, including her team, Paris FC, its president, staff, fans, and teammates.
She posted on social media:
“I’m incredibly grateful and humbled by this award..@tropheesunfp thank you for recognizing my efforts. FC Paris, the president, the entire team staff, the fans and my wonderful teammates.
“Your belief in me and my work is a tremendous source of motivation.”
Chiamaka Nnadozie’s outstanding performances for Paris FC have not gone unnoticed. This recent recognition adds to her previous achievement of winning the French D1 Arkema award.
