Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Abiodun Baruwa has expressed confidence that newly appointed head coach Finidi George and his assistant Daniel Amokachi will be given the freedom to effectively manage the team.

Finidi was recently named the new head coach of the Super Eagles, with his former teammate Amokachi appointed as his first assistant.

Baruwa believes the NFF will provide the coaches with all the necessary support to ensure their success.

“I believe NFF will not interfere with what’s going on between Amokachi and Finidi,” he told TVC News.

“All they just need to do is to sit down together and work out the plan moving forward.

Baruwa also spoke on the working relationship of the number 1 and number 2 Super Eagles handlers.

“What Amokachi needs to understand is that he needs to respect Finidi in whatever decision he’s trying to go for and just give him support, have his own opinion and at the same time support him as the chief coach,” He said.
