Nigeria’s Table Tennis star Aruna Quadri has booked his place in the next round of ongoing WTT Saudi Smash tournament.
Quadri secured a hard-fought victory over Lee Sang-Su, prevailing 3-2 to advance to the third round.
The Nigerian started brightly by clinching the first set, however, Lee Sang-Su mounted a strong comeback, claiming victory in the second and third sets.
Undeterred, the former African number one rallied in the fourth set, delivering a commanding performance to even the score.
In a nail-biting conclusion, Aruna demonstrated his resilience and skill, ultimately emerging victorious in the fifth set, securing his progression in the tournament.
