English Premier League side Brentford has successfully acquired the services of Nigerian defender Benjamin Frederick.

Frederick, 18, a product the Kaduna-based Simoiben, an academy own by Nigerian international Simon Moses, caught the attention of Brentford scouts.

 

Initially joining on loan, Frederick’s stellar performances on the field quickly convinced Brentford of his value, leading to the decision to secure his talents permanently.

The Nigeria U-20 international, follows in the footsteps of compatriot Frank Onyeka, becoming the second Nigerian player to join the Bees.
