Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers hit the target for his 20th goal of the season for Glasgow Rangers.

Dessers’ moment came in Rangers’ hard-fought 2-1 victory over St. Mirren on Sunday, solidifying his contribution to the team’s campaign.

Despite facing criticism for perceived wastefulness in front of goal, the forward’s performance on Sunday won him even more accolades.

In addition to his 20 goals, the Nigerian has also provided eight assists in 49 appearances across all competitions, highlighting his versatility and impact on the field.

“I want more than this,” indicating his hunger for further success,” the 29-year-old forward said afterwards.

“I think it’s one that we deserved seeing the shift we put in, but we knew it was going to be hard before we got here.

“If you told me I’d have scored 20 goals at the start of the season, I’d have taken it, but now I have a couple more assists, so for sure it feels good, but I want more than this.”

With Rangers trailing three points behind league leaders Celtic, Cyriel Dessers’ good form will be instrumental as the team continues its pursuit of the title.
