Wilfred Ndidi scored one of the goals as Leicester City thrashed Southampton 5-0 on Tuesday night.
Ndidi did not only score, he also contributed significantly to the team’s solid defensive display.
With this goal, the Nigerian’s season tally reached four goals in 30 league appearances and six across all competitions.
Ghanaian sensation Abdul Fatawu scored a sensational hat-trick, while Jamie Vardy added the other goal.
Meanwhile Joe Aribo also saw action for Southampton, but he was substituted off in the 83rd minute, following the team’s struggle to match Leicester’s intensity.
The Foxes are now poised for promotion, needing just one win from their remaining fixtures against Preston or Blackburn to secure their spot in the top flight.
