Enyimba FC head coach, Finidi George is increasingly optimistic about his team’s chances of retaining the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title as the season draws to a close.

The People’s Elephant, boasting a record nine NPFL titles, are on track to potentially make it 10, currently occupying the second spot in the standings.

With seven games remaining in the season, Enyimba are firmly in contention with only two points separating them from league leaders Rangers.

“I think we have a chance to aim for the trophy again. We will see how we can win at home. We will push till the end of the season.

“Others are also playing to achieve the same thing but this is Enyimba, we don’t give up,” He told journalists in Akure.
