Remo Stars Head Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede expressed his sentiments regarding the team’s narrow defeat against Plateau United on Sunday in the NPFL.
Despite a spirited effort from Remo Stars, they succumbed to a 1-0 against Plateau United.
The match took place at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday, drawing significant attention from football enthusiasts nationwide due to recent the impressive form of both teams.

Ogunmodede attributed Plateau United’s victory to luck, implying that Remo Stars put up a formidable challenge throughout the game.
“We know how much Plateau United needed the game, they brought the fight to us,” Ogunmodede reacted in a post-match interview.
“We were able to contain them in the first half of the game. In the second half they came out consistently putting pressure on us which we tried to contain.
“But at the end they were lucky to go home with the maximum points and we Remo Stars were very unlucky not to get something from the game.”
The defeat saw Remo Stars slip from third down to fifth position in the table, but will get the chance to fight their way back up when the host Niger Tornadoes in Ikenne Stadium this Friday.
