Atalanta manager, Gian Piero Gasperini has commended Ademola Lookman for his performance in the team’s 2-1 win at Monza on Monday.
Lookman, who returned to the starting lineup after being sidelined for the last three matches, delivered an impressive performance by providing two crucial assists for his team.
The forward played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s victory by setting up Charles De Ketelaere for the opening goal late in the first half.
He also provided the assist for El Bilal Touré who scored Atlanta’s second goal after the break.
Gasperini showered praise on the Nigerian for his outstanding performance in the game, highlighting his significant impact on the field.
“El Bilal did well, Charles did well, Lookman did well, who had a truly excellent match,” the Italian tactician said, as per Tutto Atalanta.
“They were good; they pressed, played with quality, and put Monza in difficulty.”
With eight goals and six assists in 26 league appearances for La Dea this season, Lookman has been a consistent performer for the team.
