Nigeria’s forward, Paul Onuachu has resumed training with his Turkish club Trabzonspor following a period on the sidelines due to injury.

Onuachu sustained the injury shortly after his return from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in February, which has seen him miss out on four league games.

The 29-year-old’s return to fitness comes as a boost for Trabzonspor, who are currently vying for a top spot in the Turkish league.

He is now in contention to feature in the upcoming match against Konyaspor on Wednesday, providing much-needed firepower to the team’s attacking lineup.

On loan from Southampton, Onuachu has been a key contributor to Trabzonspor’s campaign this season, netting nine goals in 17 league appearances.

Trabzonspor currently sits in third place on the league table with 49 points from 30 matches.
