The anticipation surrounding Asisat Oshoala’s home debut for National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) side Bay FC has reached a fever pitch, with the 18,000-capacity PayPal Park in San Jose being completely booked for the upcoming match against Houston Dash.

Bay FC, the newest addition to the NWSL, is set to host their inaugural home game this Sunday.

In an official announcement on Bay FC’s website, the club stated, “Bay FC, the new women’s professional soccer franchise representing the Bay Area in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), will host the club’s first home match Saturday, March 30, (3am on Sunday in Nigeria) at PayPal Park in San Jose. Bay FC’s inaugural game is sold out.”

Oshoala has already begun to make her mark in the NWSL, scoring a goal on her debut against Angels FC and providing an assist in the team’s recent 2-1 loss to Washington Spirit.
