Finidi George is poised to step in as Nigeria’s interim coach for this month’s International friendlies against Ghana and Mali, set to be held in Morocco.

Having served as assistant coach under Jose Peseiro, Finidi is now being considered for the head Coach’s position.

Also, the former Super Eagles midfielder has officially applied for the head coach position since the vacancy was announced last week.

BRL sources have confirmed that Finidi, alongside Enyimba goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke, is expected to depart for Morocco following their NPFL midweek fixture against Remo Stars in Ikenne.

Nigeria will face off against Ghana and Mali on March 22nd and March 26th respectively.
