Godfrey Oboabona has signed a one-year contract deal with Saudi Arabian football club Al Ahli Jeddah.
The 26-year-old defender played for Rizespor last season, but they were relegated from the Turkish Super Lig.
Oboabona has now joined three-time Saudi league champions, who have never been relegated from the top flight in the Saudi Arabian league.
Al Ahli finished as runners-up in the 2016/2017 season behind Al-Hilal, who claimed their fourteenth league title.
The club announced the deal on their official twitter handle on Friday.
Al Ahli tweeted: “Official: Nigerian defender Godfrey Oboabona signed a 1-year contract with Al-Ahli. #AHLIFC.”
