Having skipped Tuesday’s team training for personalized gym sessions, concerns loomed over the striker’s readiness for the encounter.

Addressing the forward’s fitnesss concerns, Napoli’s official website reported on Wednesday that Osimhen rejoined group training, alleviating worries about his participation in the crucial fixture.

Osimhen actively participated in the session and was looking sharp in training.

The Nigerian has been in good form for Napoli since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations Cup.

Remarkably, he has found the net five times in four games for Napoli in 2024. The streak was halted during the encounter against Juventus, where he missed a late penalty.
