Leicester Boss Excited with Return of “Important” Ndidi

Leicester City, boss Enzo Maresca has expressed delight with the return of Wilfred Ndidi and his availability for selection after almost two-and a-half months.

Ndidi marked his return to the team in their 1-0 victory against Sunderland on Tuesday night.

The 27-year-old midfielder, who had been sidelined with a muscle injury, replaced Yunus Akgun in the 73rd minute in the game.

Speaking after the game, Maresca described Ndidi’s as an important player in the team.

“I’m very happy. We need him; Wilf is so important to us, so it’s good to have him back,” as reported on the official Leicester City website.
