Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong has revealed that his national teammate, Victor Osimhen, is set to leave Naples next year.
Troost-Ekong, however, remained tight-lipped about the specific team Osimhen might join.
“Where will Osimhen play next year? I can’t say anything, but I know (laughs, ed.),” Troost-Ekong said in an exclusive interview with Sky Sport, adding an air of mystery to the unfolding transfer saga.
Journalists pressed for details, but the former Udinese and Salernitana defender maintained his secrecy, responding with a knowing smile that affirmed his awareness of Osimhen’s next destination.
Osimhen recently extended his contract with Napoli, though a release clause of close to €100m has been reported.
The prolific striker has captured the attention of football giants Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, both rumored to have him on their wishlist. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
