Dessers Dreams League title with Rangers

Cyriel Dessers believes Rangers are where they want to be after the 5-0 win over Hearts on Saturday.

Dessers played a pivotal role in the victory, scoring twice in the space of three minutes while Mohamed Diomande, Oscar Cortes and Fabio Silva also got on the score sheet.

Victory put the Gers two points ahead of Celtic at the top of the Premiership after 27 round of matches.

“It was a really good team performance,” Dessers said. “The result was 5-0 but I don’t think Hearts played a bad game, they are a good team.”

“You can see we are in a good place just now. But we have to stay humble, keep our heads down and continue to work hard.

“Hopefully we can keep up this form. We are a really good team at this moment but I still think there is quite a bit of growth left and that’s a positive thing.

“That is the feeling of everyone in the training ground and that is why we stay hungry. We need to keep working harder because we know there is more to come.”

The Gers have won their last nine games in all competitions with Dessers contributing 16 goals across all competitions.
