Bright Osayi-Samuel will miss Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash against Angola on Friday.

Osayi-Samuel is reportedly nursing a knee injury and won’t be available for the tie against Palancas Negras.

Despite fallen behind Ola Aina in the right back position, the Fenerbahce defender has appeared twice in the competition.

He played in the second and last Group matches against Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea Bissau respectively.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Musa is also ruled out of the game, due to thigh injury. Musa is yet to feature for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles will face the Angolans at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Friday.
