Super Eagles CB, Semi Ajayi remains resolute in the belief that they will discover their form as the Africa Cup of Nations unfolds.
The three-time champions have faced criticism for their lackluster performances in the tournament thus far.
Having secured a spot in the round of 16, the Super Eagles find themselves among the least prolific attacking sides, netting only three goals in three matches.
However, Ajayi is unwavering in his conviction that the team will bounce back and show significant improvement in the upcoming stages of the competition.
The defender expressed optimism that the Super Eagles will elevate their game and silence their critics.
“The aim of the game is to win, it doesn’t matter if we score five or one. We just want to win and progress,” Ajayi countered when asked about the team’s performances.
“We can be happy with our defensive solidity, the goals will come.”
