Super Eagles forward Sadiq Umar is pleased with his stunning strike for Real Sociedad against Sevilla on Sunday.
The forward scored a stunning goal from 37-yard as Real Sociedad edged Sevilla 2-1 at Anoeta.
Reacting to the goal, Sadiq conveyed his appreciation to the entire Real Sociedad team.
“I thank all the people at Real, the physios, the doctors, coaches, teammates, all the people with whom I have worked day after day,” the 26-year-old told Marca.
“This goal is for them. It’s a very important goal for me, I needed it after a year.”
